Tim Whalen is the husband of one wife Tracie for 33 years, father of 4: Jordan 31 (Jennie), Jessica 26, Ethan 13, ad Evan 11. I have an electrical engineering background after graduating from DeVry in Lombard IL. I’ve worked in Engineering and the field of Automation for my whole career. I grew up in IL in Freeport but moved out of the area back in 2006. In our time away from Illinois, we lived near the Creation Museum in Kentucky for 9 years. We moved back to Freeport in 2020 to take care of family concerns. The folks we met and worked with at Answers in Genesis helped me see the way Evolution targeted the foundations of God’s Word. God used AIG to start the process in me which was amplified and has grown through Institute for Creation Research and many others. I am hopeful to make a positive impact on the ministry of MCF and encourage it’s members to expand the reach of the ministry significantly, Lord willing! I believe the idea of Evolution (I don’t think it qualifies as a scientific theory) is one of the worst things to ever happen in the history of the world. We need to show people the fallacy of this idea hoping  that people will see how the foundation of Genesis leads to our need for the Salvation that is found only in Jesus Christ our Savior!
